About Me

I’m a full time working mother of three. My kids are Jacob; age 6, Addison; age 5 and Matthew; 1 year. I am a Public Relations Manager and while I don’t have a white picket fence around my house I do live in the Boston suburbs. You’ll hear more about my kids in the stories I share, as they are my muse, but mostly I want to focus on the lessons I’m learning, the little ups and downs that we all face everyday and the shortcuts we take (good bad or otherwise) to make it to the weekend each week. I do not own any jeans with elastic in the waist nor will I ever but the term ‘sensible shoes’ is finally starting to make a whole lot of sense to me, much to the dismay of my husband, Chris.

  1. Good luck with your blog! You may want to check out, Google, a friend of mine: Elizabeth Wilcox. She’s a writer who focuses on mom issues. She’s made it big since she was an intern at the Hartford ad agency where I was creative director back in the 80s. A Miss Porter’s School and Middlebury grad. Great writer.

I’ll continue to check in on your blog. If you get a chance, check out my Web Town Observer. It’s been a great PR tool, a place where I’ve been promoting the book I’m about to have published.

Good luck! Donna ( Kanner ) McCarthy says hi.

HI! I got word of this blog thru my cousin Rob- he and Chris are my 3rd cousins, I think. Our grandfather’s were brothers. I grew up in Saugus ’til I was 10 and faebook has been great to reconnect with everyone! Also- what a small world, my husbands uncle is Ed Weiler- used to work at Shift- do you know him??
I had to write and tell you – I love your blog! You are a great writer- it must feel good to get all the craziness and fun down on paper! I am a photographer and also the mom of 3 boys (7, 6 and almost 2). I try to document our craziness thru pictures!
You have a beautiful family. I know I will enjoy reading your blog entries. Having kids brings on a whole new meaning to our lives- it’s like a roller coaster – just hold on and go with it! Or scream your head off… either way đŸ™‚
